Today's is a Nanoha doujinshi, requested by an anonymous Nanoha/Yuuno fan.  Not my pairing of choice, but eh.  Yuuno's still a cool guy.

And something on the "love" side was a nice change of pace from the mindless screwing that I've been translating as of late.

Well, it seems that this commissioning thing is coming along decently...  I still need to smooth some things out but it's turning out pretty well overall.

BASIC-

If it's a doujinshi you want translated, throw it onto Mediafire or Rapidshare or one of the other filesharing sites and email me the link.

If it's in a tankoubon, do the same.

If it's from a professional magazine, there's a chance that I already have it so tell me the chapter name and magazine first if you don't feel like just uploading it.

After I check things out, I'll email you back with the final price and all. I'll get to work within a day or so of receiving payment.

When I'm finished, I'll email a link to the commissioner first, and then wait a few days before putting it up on my blog. If you don't care about seeing it first, then tell me so.


RATES-

The going rate is $1.25 per page for normal-type manga. If there's an excessive amount of text or editing work, then the price increases.

I'm only charging for what I actually translate so if you give me a 21-page doujinshi with only 16 pages of actual text, that's all you have to pay for.


PAYMENT-

For the moment, Paypal is the preferred method. My contact email isn't the same as my Paypal account, so be careful about that.

I'll give you the paypal email after the commission details are sorted out.


TIME-

The average wait time for one manga chapter is about two days or so.

This is without taking into account length, outside interference(can't really be editing eromanga when there are people running around me), and spontaneous computer explosion.

Oh, and possible queue inundation.  Have to wait your turn and all that.


CONTENT-

Anything's fair game, so long as it doesn't make me want to wretch. This means no gay stuff or guro. Ever.

Futa is tolerated as long as there are no penises going into other people with penises. Yeah.

I can tolerate most other things, though I reserve the right to refuse something if I find it exceptionally vile.

I'll also do non-ero stuff too.(actually preferred, to be honest.)

Haven't entirely figured out how I'll be doing this shit yet, but I was thinking maybe $1.25 per page... details to come later.

Bleh... I had this thing done last night and intended to upload it before I went to sleep... only to forget that I'm on dialup and my uploads have a tendency to time out on me.  -_- 

And since the usual method I use to get stuff is absent for the time being, I'm kind of screwed in that department... I'll have to mess around some in other places, and will hopefully have the damned thing uploaded in the afternoon.

Well, here's the second half of the story.  I wish there was more, but it can't be helped.

I had posted this on 4chan early this morning, but then I had to go and have been held up until now.  Sorry to those who don't frequent that place.

And since I'm in a reasonably good mood at the moment, here's some of the things I intend to get done within the week, in no particular order:

-Since it grabbed me right away, Sasakura Ayato's manga in the most recent issue of Comic Rin. 

-Since it's been requested, the sequel to Masegaki Temptation from the most recent Comic Masyo.

-Another chapter from Tecchan, already translated.

-The third chapter in Knoh Hollow's tankoubon "Rose Bud."  Been holding off on that long enough.

-And if I'm feeling up to it, more Araki Akira stuff.

Since I generally put stuff up without any warning, I thought I'd be nice for a change.  Yeah.

Turns out that Sayo was up there as well... kind of sucks that I didn't know that beforehand, but oh well.

Here's something from Kir-Rin that hueso had been wanting me to translate for quite some time now... and I've just now gotten around to it.  It's particularly nice, so take a look. 

Naming's kind of weird(hiragana is "kiririn" ), but that's what he put his name as on his tankoubon so that's what I'll go with.

Yay Araki.  His stuff's a nice diversion from the more complicated ones that I've been doing.  That's probably why I'm able to crank these out without much effort...

...looking back on it, I'm getting pretty close to my old release schedule.  I have no idea how long I'll be able to maintain this though, so enjoy it while you can.

Bleh... a wonderful combination of horrible family emergencies, me being nagged to get a job and Tales of the Abyss conspired against me, and caused this prolonged absence.

And none of the above have been resolved, so don't be too surprised if I wind up vanishing again for a while.

But until then, I intend to keep at it... in any event, translating eromanga keeps me from thinking about these recent depressing developments.  Yay running away from my problems and all that.

Akitsuki Hirozumi's an artist whose work caught my eye a little while back, and has joined Yaminabe and Yuiga Naoha on my "GYAAH MUST TRANSLATE EVERYTHING" list.  Today's release is the first of many by him... after this, I'm going to go over Itazura, and then it's finally on to Harem Tune 2.

Also, a small request to those who know how to clean raws... I have
a few other chapters by him, but they're not in any condition for me

I've pretty much spent the entire weekend translating eromanga scripts, so there should be a few more releases this week...

Whee... it seems that I've been getting plugged quite a bit lately... 

...first (many, many times) by a scanlator who makes my meager efforts look like trash, Tonigobe,
and then I find out that some kind fellow added me to Mangaupdates' scanlator list.

I feel all legitimized and stuff.

In other news, it seems that RetardB's finished editing a chapter from
Radical Temptation that I did... I haven't had the time to check it out
yet, but I'll put it up on this blog as an official release once I do.

Next up on my plate is to finish off another Saegusa Kohaku chapter to throw at hueso, and then maybe I'll finally get around to doing chapter two of Harem Tune... I've also made a slight update to the "tentative" and "current" project pages on the sidebar so you might want to check those out.

of Shoujo Tengoku, I appreciate it.  It's a shame that the 2008/5 issue is the last, though... it seems that the magazine is going to
be relaunched as "Comic ino." much like how Megaplus became 0EX.

And it looks like Aoyama Reo's going to be doing a chapter in the
next issue of Comic Rin... I'll be sure to jump on that once it comes out.

Slowly getting back in the groove, I guess... it's taking a bit longer than I thought it would, but that can't really be helped.

I've sent out a few scripts already to those who volunteered, and am working on some more right now... with any luck, the next few weeks should be similar to my old pace of releases.

...wow, it's almost been a month.  I really have fallen off it...

...sorry to everyone who's been wondering what the hell happened
to me, a combination of being busy and being lazy kind of ground
all progress in my translating of things to a halt.

With that said, I'm formally taking a break from editing stuff for fifteen
days, in order to finish off the various other responsibilities I've been
trying to juggle as of late.  I'll still be having a go at the occasional script, and
intend to have Onegai Sister 3 ready to throw at hueso by the end of the
week at the latest, but yeah.

And if anyone else wants to volunteer to edit any of the "tentative projects" I have listed on the sidebar, just post a comment saying so.  Since it takes considerably less time for me to translate than to edit, that should speed things up a bit.  My only condition for those interested is that your editing skills are at least equal to my own, if not better.  And considering that I kind of suck, that's not really asking much.

Sorry for not putting anything up in the past week.  A lot of stuff came up, and... yeah.

I have been working on stuff in the meantime, though.  I'm about halfway done with another manga by Yuiga Naoha, and I plan on doing Genshou 3 is after that's finished.

Sorry about my disappearance, but I kinda overworked myself trying to keep up my streak of one update a day.

I wanted to get through January at least, but oh well.  Nineteen straight
days is still pretty damned good. 

In the meantime, it seems that the 2008/02 issue of Shoujo Tengoku came out, so thanks to the guys who
scanned it and all that.  There are at lease five things from that one
that I'll be getting to eventually, and it seems that the 2008/03 issue will have something by Kakkuu.  Hopefully, that one will be
scanned sooner, as opposed to a month after the issue's release.

It's come to my attention that some other sites are uploading my stuff and making money off my hard work.  While this is certainly annoying as hell (expecially since I haven't seen a cent from this), there's nothing I can really do about it.  At least they're leaving the credits pages on...

In better news, it seems that my prediction was correct and the new
issue of Comic 0EX contains the third installment of Genshou.  I'll
probably have that one up sometime next week.
